Hotel description

The UK's largest, liveliest and funkiest hostel is located in the centre of London, and is the perfect place to meet other backpackers from all over the world. Centrally located near Russell Square Tube station, the hostel offers 800 beds in private twin, triple, quad and 5-bed rooms, all with a washbasin. A free continental breakfast and bed linen is included. You can also enjoy free hot showers 24 hours a day. Party the night away in the famous Generator Bar, with a free drink for all guests over 18 years old. Happy hour is from 18:00 to 21:00, with drinks at great discounted prices. There are events every night: karaoke on Thursdays, a live DJ on Saturdays and free movies on Wednesdays and Sundays. The Generator also has an internet cafe, a lounge area and a games room with pool tables, all open 24 hours.

We do not accept American Express! All the rooms at The Generator are non-smoking. However, we have smoking and non-smoking areas throughout the hostel. ALL group bookings over 10 people need to contact us once they have booked rooms, as we require FULL PAYMENT 1 month before the arrival to avoid cancellation. We do not accept group bookings with students under the age of 18 years old. Sorry, we do not allow animals EXCEPT guide/hearing dogs.
